Poise Society is an independently built lifestyle brand founded by Natalie Gillis during her senior year at the University of Georgia.

Designed for real life, every piece begins with the same idea: getting dressed should make you feel more like yourself.

MEET NATALIE

built from scratch, quite literally.

Before Poise Society had a name, Natalie was a college student with a camera, a creative brain and an idea she couldn’t stop thinking about.

She had always loved fashion, but getting dressed often left her frustrated. She wanted pieces that were flattering without being restrictive, comfortable without feeling basic and special enough to keep wearing long after a trend disappeared.

So during her senior year at the University of Georgia, she decided to make them herself.

There were no investors and no fashion degree. Natalie photographed fellow students’ graduations and used the money she made behind the camera to begin funding the brand.

What started as an idea between classes became Poise Society.

Poise was built around the idea that the best clothes become part of your life.

The set you wear to pilates and somehow stay in until dinner. The sweatshirt that ends up traveling everywhere with you. The piece you find yourself reaching for years later.

That means designing beyond trends and paying attention to the things that actually matter: how something fits, how it feels and whether you genuinely want to wear it again.

Natalie remains hands on across the entire process, from early concepts and fabric selection to fittings, shoots, events and the final details you see online.

The brand is still independently owned, still growing intentionally and still being figured out in real time.

And we think that’s part of what makes it special.
